Head Internal Controller

About the role

The Head Internal Controller is responsible for overseeing internal controls, audits, compliance and investigations across the organisation. This role aims to identify risks, prevent irregularities and strengthen both operational and financial controls, particularly within the hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the internal control team, conduct performance appraisals, and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Review monthly performance data to detect non‑compliance, control weaknesses and potential fraud.
• Plan and execute fraud investigations and operational audits as required.
• Establish and monitor internal control environments for new outlets, ensuring follow‑up compliance visits.
• Collaborate with Finance and Quality Management to review audit action plans and document findings.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC with ACCA Level 2 and 2–4 years of experience in Accounting/Audit, preferably in tourism or hotel industry.
• Previous experience in hotel operations with strong knowledge of finance, audit and accounting practices.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong functional knowledge of the hospitality sector.
