Health and Safety Officer

About the role

As a proactive and detail‑oriented Health and Safety Officer, you will lead safety initiatives across all business units and dormitories of Exotic Group, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management system for the group.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, risk assessments and investigate accidents.
• Prepare and manage safety reports, meeting all required timelines.
• Develop and implement preventive safety measures and health protocols across all units.
• Deliver safety and health awareness programmes, train staff and promote best practices.
• Maintain statutory compliance records and ensure documentation meets legal requirements.
• Manage dormitory safety, including permits, to ensure safe, healthy and compliant conditions.

Required profile

• BSc in Health & Safety from a recognised tertiary institution or a relevant diploma.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates may also apply).
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
• Strong communication, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work odd hours when necessary.
• Certificate of Character and a valid driving licence (own car is an advantage).
