Hotel Receptionist

About the role

MEDINE GROUP is looking for a Receptionist for its Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel. The Receptionist manages the front desk by greeting guests, handling inquiries and providing administrative support so that hotel operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check guests in and out in a friendly and efficient way
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues and give information on hotel services and local attractions
• Manage room bookings, cancellations and modifications accurately
• Assist with special requests and help ensure a smooth guest experience
• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and prepare daily financial reports for management
• Process guest payments and keep accurate billing records
• Keep the front desk tidy and organized, monitor hotel security and respond to emergencies
• Carry out regular checks of the premises to ensure guest safety

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate or a certificate of equivalent standard
• National Certificate Level 3 (NC3) in Rooms & Front Office or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience as a hotel receptionist is an advantage
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and ability to work independently at night
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skills
