About the role

Join the housekeeping team at a leading luxury resort in Mauritius. You will lead the floor staff to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise room cleaning and overall hygiene of the department.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained, report any defects promptly, and manage the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Rotate employees across different tasks as needed and monitor punctuality.
  • Maintain adequate stock of guest amenities, chemicals and other supplies.

Required profile

  • Minimum 3 years experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort.
  • Secondary education with relevant training or certificates is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, enforce safety standards and handle guest‑room activities.

Required skills

  • Good knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and safely use cleaning chemicals.
