Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the daily cleaning operations at our luxury resort, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate a team of attendants, manage supplies, and act as the point of contact for any operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise room cleaning, hygiene standards and equipment maintenance.
• Rotate staff across tasks, monitor punctuality and productivity.
• Maintain adequate stock of guest amenities, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure safety, fire regulations and eliminate work hazards.
• Act as Head Housekeeper in their absence and support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• Train and coach team members, implement skill‑development programs.
• Promote energy‑saving practices and ensure smooth inter‑department communication.
• Monitor work quality, correct mistakes promptly and maintain guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional hospitality training is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Experience on remote island locations is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and team‑leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English (or another language) in both written and spoken form.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
