HR Specialist – Remote (Full‑Time)

About the role

Flowz Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to lead the full employee lifecycle for its remote workforce. This full‑time, work‑from‑home position supports a global staffing company and focuses on recruitment, compliance, payroll, and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen, interview and hire talent using multiple recruiting platforms.
• Maintain the applicant tracking system, talent pipelines, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations, leave policies, anti‑discrimination and privacy rules.
• Process accurate payroll, manage employee records, and support disciplinary actions.
• Prepare contracts, coordinate onboarding, and oversee orientation and required training.
• Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and support managers in resolving workplace issues.
• Coordinate performance reviews, probation evaluations, and HR reporting.
• Maintain HRIS data, personnel files, compliance documentation, and organizational charts.
• Drive employee engagement through recognition programs, team‑building, wellness initiatives and company events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience covering recruitment, payroll, employee relations and compliance.
• Fluent in both French and English with strong communication skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgment.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms.
• Proficiency in payroll software.
• Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
• LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and video interviewing tools.
