About the role
We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to support payroll, rewards, employee relations and HR analytics. The role will help implement HR operations initiatives and ensure alignment with global corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Execute full‑cycle payroll functions accurately, timely and in compliance with relevant authorities.
- Research and provide insights on remuneration, compensation and benefits for the country.
- Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and monitor HR databases and produce analytical reports as required.
- Manage country‑specific enquiries and ensure timely responses.
- Support departmental compliance and promote awareness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Handle monthly claim management for assigned countries.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Science, Psychology or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and HR operations.
- Familiarity with Mauritius employment laws and HR legislation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage priorities under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
