HVAC Technician - Air Conditioning

About the role

The brand house is looking for a skilled and reliable AC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and service air conditioning units across several showrooms, the head office and other facilities. The ideal candidate has experience with HVAC systems in a commercial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and service Cassette, Split and Ceiling type AC units in showrooms, the head office and other facilities
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AC unit issues and resolve them promptly
• Clean and replace filters, ducts, drain pipes and other components to keep efficiency and air quality high
• Follow safety regulations and best practices during installations and repairs
• Carry out system checks to spot potential problems and make adjustments
• Keep records of services provided, parts used and maintenance schedules
• Advise on energy-efficient practices and recommend improvements
• Handle emergency service requests and work with the facilities manager to schedule servicing with minimal disruption
• Assist with the installation of new systems

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar, preferably with Cassette, Split and Ceiling units
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and common repair practices
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematic drawings
• Valid driver's licence for manual vehicles and ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
• Comfortable working in varied environments, including high ceilings and confined spaces
