Information Risk Management Specialist

About the role

The Information Risk Management Specialist joins the Technology & Risk Services team at Allianz Services. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, delivering security assurance to Allianz operating entities and supporting project delivery from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer needs and design innovative security concepts.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and ensure project deliverables meet agreed deadlines.
• Guide clients through the security assurance process, reviewing documentation and evidences.
• Prepare progress reports, working papers, presentations and other stakeholder communications.
• Review and mentor junior team members to maintain high‑quality outputs.
• Provide troubleshooting, conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
• Advise clients on information security management in line with Allianz policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (candidates without a degree may be considered based on experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including 1‑2 years in IT/IT‑Security roles such as service management, system administration, security monitoring, IAM, or audit/governance.
• Familiarity with project management concepts is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002, COBIT and NIST CSF frameworks.
• Experience with IT service management, system administration, security monitoring, identity & access management, IT audit, governance and risk management.
