Infrastructure & Systems Administrator

About the role

The Infrastructure & Systems Administrator ensures the smooth operation of the organization’s IT environment. This position serves as the primary point of contact for technical support and works closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain a reliable, secure network and collaboration platform.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first‑line helpdesk, logging, prioritising and resolving user requests for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, telephony and meeting‑room equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and operating system issues to minimise business disruption.
• Administer, maintain and support the company’s Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, including site creation, permissions, workflows and backups.
• Provide SharePoint user support, develop documentation, and conduct training sessions.
• Monitor system health, perform regular maintenance, and coordinate upgrades with Microsoft 365 administrators and external providers.
• Identify recurring problems, analyse root causes and recommend preventive measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support and helpdesk environments.
• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to train users and produce clear technical documentation.
