IT Project Manager – Core Banking Transformation

About the role

Light Frame SA is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead core‑banking transformation initiatives on its next‑generation platform. Based in Mauritius, the role blends on‑site presence with remote collaboration, acting as the bridge between technical and functional teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver core‑banking system projects using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate engineering, functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
• Manage project governance, backlog prioritisation, risk mitigation, issue resolution and regulatory compliance.
• Drive incremental, value‑focused releases that maintain data integrity and minimise business disruption.
• Report progress to senior leadership using Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts.
• Promote continuous improvement of delivery practices and Agile maturity across the organisation.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of project management experience in banking technology or large‑scale IT transformation.
• Proven track record of leading Agile teams and delivering projects iteratively.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities, with cultural adaptability.
• Experience with core‑banking systems or similar financial‑IT environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
