Java Technical Architect

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced Java Technical Architect to join its Cloud First group in Mauritius. You will lead the design and development of robust, scalable Java applications and provide technical guidance to a team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop Java applications using the Spring framework.
• Implement RESTful APIs with Spring MVC and ensure seamless database integration using Hibernate or JPA.
• Write unit tests with JUnit and collaborate with QA teams for thorough testing.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor Spring Java developers.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and apply security best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale Java solutions.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
