Junior Account Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Junior Account Clerk to support our finance team in Beau Bassin. The role involves handling routine accounting tasks, ensuring accurate records, and assisting with both accounts receivable and payable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Compile customer and supplier invoices.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card statement reconciliations.
• Prepare bank lodgements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Assist with routine accounting and administrative tasks.
• Support the finance team with day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC with Accounting; a Diploma in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• Well‑organized, reliable and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
