Junior Developer

About the role

As a Junior Developer you will support the design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions using C#.NET and Azure technologies. Working alongside experienced developers and project managers you will gain hands‑on experience, develop your technical skills and contribute to delivering technology solutions across Ocorian. You will also build knowledge of Ocorian’s core systems and gain insight into the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, development and delivery of software solutions in collaboration with the Development Manager and wider team.
• Write, maintain and improve code for business applications and technology initiatives.
• Assist with troubleshooting, resolving software bugs and monitoring application performance.
• Respond to support requests, create reports and dashboards, and conduct testing to ensure reliability.
• Participate in team discussions, share ideas and continuously build technical knowledge of the codebase and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of C# and .NET with a willingness to learn and develop further.
• Familiarity with software development best practices such as version control, code reviews and testing.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and proactive learning attitude.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
