About the role

Parallels is seeking a Junior Events Specialist to support the end‑to‑end planning and execution of global in‑person and virtual industry events, working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

Manage vendor logistics, ordering and shipping assets, registration, and day‑of event support.
Assist with negotiating contracts, communicating with suppliers, and monitoring vendor performance.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure event goals and deliverables are met.
Process invoices, manage event portals, and maintain detailed project management of events.
Support or lead on‑site logistics, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

Exceptional organization and time‑management abilities with strong project‑management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication for client and vendor liaison.
Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Salesforce for reporting and tracking.
