Junior SQL/PLSQL Developer – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our team. You will work closely with senior developers, analysts, and DBAs to build, optimise and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code while gaining valuable hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
• Assist in writing and optimising SQL queries for applications and reporting.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing PL/SQL code.
• Collaborate with senior developers and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Support data migration, transformation and integration initiatives.
• Perform unit testing and assist QA activities as needed.
• Document code and processes clearly for future reference and team collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Basic knowledge of PL/SQL programming.
• Understanding of relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with data modelling principles.
