L2 Senior Cloud Platform Engineer – Kubernetes & Observability

About the role

We are seeking a senior L2 Cloud Platform Engineer to join our 24/7 operations team. The role focuses on Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD and observability across Azure and GCP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Kubernetes and GitOps operational layer for AKS and GKE clusters, managing container deployments, ArgoCD pipelines and Helm releases.
• Maintain and evolve the observability stack (Dynatrace APM, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring) across ~95 environments, moving the team toward proactive incident detection.
• Provide 24/7 support, troubleshoot complex incidents at the container, application and infrastructure levels.
• Implement node‑pool upgrades, autoscaling, and pod‑level troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level cloud/platform engineer with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong GitOps discipline and a proactive monitoring mindset.
• Ability to analyse and resolve multi‑layer incidents in Kubernetes environments.
• CKA or Dynatrace certification is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Kubernetes administration on AKS and GKE (node pools, upgrades, autoscaling).
• YAML, Helm, Kustomize.
• ArgoCD (sync, health, rollback, App‑of‑Apps).
• NGINX Ingress Controller configuration and TLS.
• GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Dynatrace APM (OneAgent, alerts, dashboards, Davis AI, management zones).
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and KQL.
• GCP Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
