Laundry Attendant

About the role

The resort is seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to maintain high standards of linen quality and guest service. You will work in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring clean and well‑presented linens for all hotel areas.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, weigh, and load soiled linen into washers and dryers, recording loads accurately.
• Operate laundry equipment, clean lint traps, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Fold, iron, and hand‑fold various items including towels, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and herbal wraps.
• Identify and separate damaged or stained items for repair or repurposing.
• Deliver clean linen and uniforms to staff, store items appropriately, and maintain inventory records.
• Keep the laundry area clean by sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Report safety hazards or unsafe practices to management immediately.
• Assist housekeeping with ad‑hoc tasks when required.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in laundry operations is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel or luxury resort laundry environment.
• Ability to follow detailed washing instructions and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Operating washers and dryers.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Stain‑treatment techniques.
