Lead / Senior DevOps & Security Engineer

About the role

Fintrellis Limited is seeking a Lead / Senior DevOps & Security Engineer to shape the cloud infrastructure, security posture, and operational excellence of its fintech payment platform. This senior technical position focuses on building, automating, and continuously improving modern cloud environments rather than providing routine support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve production cloud environments (AWS and other enterprise clouds).
• Drive CI/CD, automation, deployment, and operational‑excellence practices.
• Design and improve infrastructure architecture for scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and operational readiness.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and infrastructure recovery.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deliver secure, scalable systems.
• Strengthen platform security, access controls, and infrastructure hardening.
• Support PCI DSS‑regulated payment environments.
• Work with internal teams and external providers to maintain secure, resilient platforms.
• Continuously improve DevOps, security, automation, and operational practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Systems or Security Engineering, SRE or related fields.
• Strong hands‑on experience managing production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalents).
• Solid Linux administration and networking expertise.
• Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation.
• Background in containerised application environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and own end‑to‑end delivery.
