Legal & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Legal & Compliance Manager will provide hands‑on legal and compliance support to the Group’s diverse businesses, working closely with management, operational teams and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical legal and compliance assistance to management and operational teams.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and support compliance reviews, audits and internal controls.
• Draft, review and comment on contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Identify contractual risks, loopholes and unclear obligations, recommending protective measures.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, notaries, consultants and public authorities as needed.
• Support KYC checks, due diligence and third‑party compliance reviews.
• Assist with board and committee papers, governance documents, resolutions and corporate records.
• Handle legal and regulatory matters related to land, property and development projects.
• Support negotiations with suppliers, partners, contractors, tenants and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Business Law, Compliance, Corporate Governance or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in legal, compliance, contract management or corporate governance.
• Strong ability to review, draft and interpret contracts and legal documents.
• Good understanding of corporate compliance, KYC, legal risk and governance matters.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
• Ability to explain legal matters in clear, practical terms.
• Confidence to work with management, operational teams and external advisors.
• High integrity, confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Experience in a group environment, real estate, hospitality, agriculture, financial services or professional services is an advantage.
• Admission to the Bar or a professional legal qualification is a plus but not mandatory.
