Machine Learning Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Specialist to operationalise advanced ML models and AI capabilities into reliable, scalable, and secure production systems that power paid risk intelligence products. The role bridges data science, product, and engineering teams to turn experimental models into robust, customer‑facing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable model training, deployment, and inference pipelines.
• Deploy models using CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud infrastructure while meeting performance, latency, and reliability targets.
• Implement model versioning, monitoring, automated retraining, and respond to model or data drift.
• Establish operational standards and governance for AI systems, ensuring privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionise models and with Product and Engineering teams to integrate ML into user‑facing products.
• Document models, decisions, and operational procedures to support explainability and auditability.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, or software engineering.
• Strong software engineering background in Python and cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ML platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker and with Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field; a Master’s in Big Data, AI or similar is a plus.
