Manager – Custody, Clearing & Settlement

About the role

DualFin Markets Limited is seeking an experienced Manager to lead its custody, clearing and settlement function within its Mauritius operations. The role is hands‑on, requiring end‑to‑end management of post‑trade processes across international securities markets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily custody, clearing and settlement activities for international securities.
• Monitor trades from execution through confirmation to final settlement, resolving unmatched trades and settlement failures.
• Process and reconcile cash and securities movements, client holdings and custody positions.
• Manage securities transfers, corporate actions, dividends and other custody events.
• Liaise with custodians, brokers, banks, transfer agents, clients and other counterparties.
• Support onboarding of new accounts, counterparties, markets and settlement arrangements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Finance and Compliance to ensure robust operational processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to procedures, controls and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in securities custody, clearing, settlement or post‑trade operations, preferably within a bank, investment dealer, broker or custodian.
• Strong understanding of international securities markets, settlement processes, reconciliations and corporate actions.
• Experience working directly with custodians, brokers, banks and other market counterparties.
• Analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of operational matters and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and jurisdictions.
