Manager Fund Accounting

About the role

This is a senior leadership position within the fund accounting department, responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering high‑quality accounting services to global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of fund accounting professionals, conducting performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs and implement improvement initiatives to raise operational quality.
• Manage escalated client issues, conduct client review meetings and coordinate service delivery across departments.
• Direct strategic initiatives, champion technology adoption and oversee system optimisation and change‑management projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and robust risk management throughout all team activities.
• Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning and workload distribution while enforcing policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in fund accounting or related financial services.
• Strong people‑management skills with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and manage complex client relationships.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Experience in implementing process improvements and technology solutions.
