Marketing Assistant (Tech)

About the role

The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Executive and the broader Marketing & Communications team in coordinating and delivering campaigns, content, events and reporting, ensuring initiatives are executed accurately, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate corporate, product, retail and lead‑generation campaigns across online and offline channels, maintaining calendars, task trackers and approval status.
• Prepare, produce and distribute marketing materials, verify campaign information and compile performance data for review.
• Draft and schedule social media captions, email content, website copy and internal communications, and update website content and visuals.
• Support planning and logistics for launches, exhibitions, workshops, campus activations and other events, handling venue, invitations, branding and on‑site setup.
• Maintain brand consistency, proofread content and manage the marketing asset library with proper naming and version control.
• Research market trends, competitor activity and gather data for monthly KPI reports, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• One to two years of experience in marketing, communications, events or administration (internships or projects considered).
• Good written and spoken English and French; Mauritian Creole is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
• Experience using social media scheduling platforms.
• Knowledge of website content management systems.
• Basic analytics and reporting capabilities.
