About the role

Kalexius, a global leader in legal services, is seeking a Mauritius‑based commercial contracts lawyer for a short‑term, fast‑paced project. You will join a friendly, dynamic team and work on a variety of commercial agreements for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts across multiple business lines.
• Provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and corporate policies.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Collaborate with other internal functions to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Law degree with at least 4 years of experience handling commercial contract matters in a corporate environment.
• Strong legal and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Team‑player attitude and approachable demeanor.
