About the role
Northfields International School is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of its campus facilities, health and safety, canteen, school shop, and procurement operations. The role requires a highly organised leader who can optimise space and equipment while reducing operating costs, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for staff and students.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with public utilities to maintain water and electrical services across all campuses.
- Monitor utility bills, keep expenditures within budget, and report concerns to senior leadership.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and supervise the Facilities Team.
- Ensure health and safety compliance throughout the campus.
- Manage the canteen, school shop, and procurement department.
- Optimise the use of space and equipment to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising service quality.
Required profile
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- Proven experience in facilities management within an educational or similar environment.
- Ability to work with budgets and monitor expenses.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external service providers.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming campus.
Required skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with procurement processes.
