Pastry Commis – Breakfast Baker

About the role

The Pastry Commis (Breakfast Baker) supports the bakery team at Four Seasons Mauritius Resort, ensuring that high‑quality breads, rolls and pastries are ready for the resort’s breakfast service. This full‑time position works in a luxury hospitality environment and reports to the Chef de Partie Baker / Pastry Sous Chef.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, croissants, Danish pastries, muffins, brioche and other breakfast bakery items.
• Ensure all breakfast bakery products are available according to the operational schedule.
• Assist in dough preparation, portioning, shaping and proofing.
• Maintain consistency, freshness and presentation standards for all baked goods.
• Follow food‑safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
