Payroll Specialist (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail‑oriented payroll professional to join a dynamic, expanding global business. You will support and coordinate payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional service for employees and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for in‑house payroll and external vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and regional practices.
• Ensure payroll legislation compliance across Mauritius and APAC countries, including taxation, social security and pension requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll queries and liaise with Finance and Group Treasury for accurate payroll accounting and payments.
• Partner with HR and Finance to manage payroll data throughout the employee lifecycle and support payroll‑related projects, audits and statutory filings.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, HR, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll administration or operations experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory compliance in Mauritius/APAC.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
