Pharmacy Dispenser

About the role

This position is for a Pharmacy Dispenser who will join an established pharmacy team in La Caverne, Vacoas. It is ideal for candidates with a genuine interest in pharmacy operations and patient care, whether newly qualified or with up to one year of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications in line with pharmacy standards and regulations.
• Receive, verify, and process prescriptions from customers and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain proper stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure correct storage of medications.
• Provide clear information to customers on medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
• Support the pharmacist in daily operations and uphold health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Assist with the organisation and cleanliness of the dispensary and pharmacy floor.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and courteously.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Dispensing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or dispensing environment; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
• Good communication skills in English and/or French.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused attitude.
