Physician Assistant – BOSC Clinic (Diego Garcia)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to deliver high‑quality medical care at the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia. You will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to support a unique U.S. Navy program in an austere, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within PA scope of practice.
• Provide emergency medical care and trauma stabilization during critical incidents.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory and imaging diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Assist with public health programs, health education, and occupational health services.
• Support clinical operations planning and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA‑C certification/licensure in the United States.
• 1‑3 years of direct patient‑care experience in a clinical or military setting.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Proficient English communication skills, valid passport (minimum 1‑year validity), and ability to meet contract medical requirements.
