Production Lead

About the role

Drymix Ltd, a member of the UBP Group, is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will drive output, optimise resources and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production team and manage daily output of the factory.
• Optimise all resources to achieve targeted production levels.
• Ensure installations meet quality and productivity requirements.
• Own production planning to satisfy market demand.
• Liaise with raw‑material suppliers to maintain uninterrupted supply and manage stock.
• Monitor and enforce quality‑assurance procedures and process control points.
• Coordinate with maintenance and logistics to minimise production disruptions.
• Uphold safety and health procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Holder of an HSC and a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Industrial or related Engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in a similar production‑management role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and automation.
• Ability to compile and analyse production data for decision‑making.
• Solid understanding of industrial‑engineering principles.
• People‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to work odd hours.
