Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will work in a fast‑changing environment to ensure the ICPS strategy is delivered on time and to customer specifications. You will design, configure, test and integrate software components of the PowerCARD solution, supporting customers from specification through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gap analysis, define and validate solutions, and develop custom features to meet client needs.
• Gather and analyse requirements, define technology patterns and architecture for new or existing projects.
• Configure and integrate online interfaces, back‑office batch processes, and ensure interoperability of disparate platforms.
• Create technical specifications, write diagnostic programs, and develop scheduling or access‑control systems.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, test plans, test cases and scripts; conduct SIT, regression and integration testing.
• Manage certification processes with Visa, Mastercard and other intermediaries.
• Support customer acceptance testing, maintain production environments, and mitigate technical risks.
• Prepare MTP files, oversee post‑go‑live activities, and drive continuous deployment while ensuring high availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry.
• Strong ability to understand and implement customisation requirements.
• Experience with certification processes and payment‑technical specifications.
