Project Lead - ESG Sustainability Projects

About the role

The Project Lead for EESG leads the planning, execution and delivery of sustainability and impact projects for private sector, public sector and development organisations. The role combines strategic advisory, technical expertise, project management and stakeholder engagement, acting as a trusted advisor who applies Greenalytics' methodologies and international best practices across all engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on integrating EESG into strategy, governance and operations, develop practical solutions and present recommendations to senior management and Boards
• Lead project planning, execution and delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks and resources, and coordinating teams and external consultants
• Deliver diagnostics, maturity assessments, gap analyses, roadmaps, governance reviews, KPI development, carbon footprint assessments, reporting and transformation programmes
• Build client relationships, run workshops and consultations, and support proposals and tenders
• Review deliverables for quality, mentor junior consultants and monitor emerging ESG regulations and standards

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, environmental management or related fields
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects and client relationships
• Experience with private sector, financial institutions, public sector or development partners
• Presentation to senior executives and Boards is an advantage

Required skills

• ESG advisory, governance, reporting and disclosure, carbon and climate, risk assessment, project management, data analysis, workshop facilitation and report writing
• Knowledge of ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2), GRI, ESRS/CSRD, EU Taxonomy, TNFD, TCFD, GHG Protocol, ISO 14001 & 14064, UN SDGs, UN Global Compact and OECD Guidelines (desirable)
