QA Engineer – Product Backend

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will ensure the functionality, performance, and overall quality of a well‑established, widely used product that has recently merged with a complementary platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, functional analysts and product owners to translate functional requirements into test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate software quality.
• Identify, document and track bugs and issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Work with the team according to product‑owner priorities and take end‑to‑end responsibility for assigned functionalities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.

Required skills

• Test automation frameworks: Selenium, Ranorex, Playwright.
• CI/CD pipelines and version control: Git, Azure DevOps.
• API testing tools: Postman.
• Scripting/programming languages: C#, Java.
• Database knowledge: SQL, IBM DB2.
• Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) tools such as Reqnroll.
