QA / Test Engineer – Manual Testing & Bug Tracking

About the role

Accenture is seeking a QA / Test Engineer to join its quality assurance team. You will work on both new feature validation and non‑regression testing, ensuring that software releases meet high standards of functionality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and other inputs, providing early feedback to designers, project leaders and developers.
• Design, develop and execute manual acceptance tests for new features and non‑regression scenarios.
• Identify, record and track bugs, validate fixes and assess risks of collateral impacts.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and manage personal Windows VM test environments as well as shared Linux test servers.
• Contribute to the evolution of QA team processes and maintain knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience for junior roles or 5+ years for senior positions.
• ISTQB certification is a plus; prior non‑QA experience such as business analysis is also valued.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written communication in English and French.
• Curiosity, resilience to uncertainty and openness to change.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, Linux.
• Web/application servers: Apache, JBoss.
• Directory services: LDAP.
• Database querying: SQL.
• Familiarity with identity and access management solutions (e.g., CA Identity Minder) is a plus.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira is a plus.
