Reconnect Officer

About the role

Intrum is looking for a Reconnect Officer in Vacoas-Phoenix. The role supports customers located in Europe by reaching out by telephone, chat or email, building positive engagement and relationships while maintaining accurate call records.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers located in Europe by telephone, chat or email
• Establish positive engagement, build relationships and show fair treatment
• Maintain system notes so that call records are complete, accurate and professional
• Collaborate with team members to help deliver customer solutions
• Follow internal processes and escalate disputes and non-responsiveness promptly

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and French
• Preferred: previous experience in a customer care environment and in a credit control role
• Preferred: good understanding of debt collection laws and regulations
• Proven ability to communicate with people at all levels and to work with internal and external stakeholders

Required skills

• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Organization, time management, prioritization and follow-up
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
