Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Shangri-La Le Touessrok, a luxury resort in Trou d'Eau Douce, Mauritius, is hiring a full-time, on-site Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist. The role manages the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs with department leaders to onboarding new hires.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs, prepare job postings, source candidates and coordinate interviews
• Oversee selection decisions, prepare offers and ensure a smooth pre-boarding and onboarding experience, including orientation sessions and initial training coordination
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and support workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with local employment regulations
• Promote the resort's culture and values during the candidate and new-hire journey
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to improve recruitment and onboarding practices and the employee experience

Required profile

• Experience managing end-to-end talent acquisition in a hospitality or service-oriented environment
• Previous recruitment or HR experience in the hotel or resort sector is highly beneficial
• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Fluent English and French, and ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment
