Relationship Manager – Business Banking

About the role

The Business Banking SBU is seeking a Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of medium‑size businesses. You will act as the trusted advisor, delivering tailored financial solutions that support sustainable growth while protecting the bank’s risk exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and deepen relationships with selected corporate clients, designing appropriate financing and investment solutions.
• Identify and develop cross‑selling opportunities for MCB products such as financing, investment and digital services.
• Manage the credit portfolio in line with MCB credit policies, monitor risk indicators and ensure compliance.
• Represent the bank at networking events, forums and public relations activities, including weekends.
• Promote sustainable business practices among clients.
• Conduct first‑level appraisals of prospective customers and deals within the bank’s risk framework.
• Generate and nurture leads to sustain pipeline growth.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget for the Business Unit and coordinate with the Risk SBU on credit assessments.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Services, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing client relationships or a credit portfolio in a banking environment.
• Strong ability to build formal and informal networks inside and outside the organization.
• Comfort navigating complex policies, processes and organizational dynamics.
• Effective planning and prioritisation to meet business goals.
• Proactive adoption of digital and technology innovations.
