Reservations Specialist

About the role

The Reservations Specialist will manage bookings from both contracted and non‑contracted travel agents and tour operators, ensuring smooth reservation processes and high‑level service for our partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservations received via phone, email or other channels, coordinating with hotels to confirm availability and process bookings.
• Provide exceptional customer service, address special requests, and identify opportunities to upsell higher room categories or additional services.
• Use Opera Cloud (and optionally SynXis) to maintain accurate records and verify arrival documents and rooming lists.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Escalate complex issues to the Assistant Reservations Manager or Reservations Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Higher education qualification in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous reservations experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or central reservation office.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Strong time‑management, organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera reservation system.
• Familiarity with SynXis (advantageous).
• Knowledge of online travel agency bookings and LQA reservations standards (advantageous).
