Residences Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Residences Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations for the luxury residences at Four Seasons Mauritius, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Residence Attendants, ensuring departmental standards are consistently achieved.
• Inspect residences, common areas and facilities to verify compliance with resort housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with Front Office, Engineering, Security and other departments.
• Prepare weekly staff rosters, conduct shift briefings and ensure proper handovers.
• Manage inventory, linen, guest supplies and cleaning equipment, maintaining organized storage areas.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel, resort or branded residences.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Opera, Fidelio or similar Property Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, coaching and time‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, cleaning procedures and health‑and‑safety regulations.
