About the role
The Hostess welcomes guests at the restaurant entrance, ensures smooth seating, and supports the dining experience with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, check reservations, and escort them to their tables.
- Maintain a tidy reception area, manage reservations, and handle guest requests.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and any concerns to the restaurant manager.
- Answer phone calls, provide information, and take bookings.
- Assist staff with table resets during busy periods and ensure menus and drink lists are prepared.
Required profile
- Reliable, cooperative, flexible, and well‑presented.
- Young female candidate with a strong drive to work odd hours.
- Good spoken English and French; a third language is a plus.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office.
