About the role
As a Retail Equipment Lifecycle Engineer in Operations, you will manage the full lifecycle of retail banking equipment such as ATMs and cash‑handling devices, ensuring reliability, compliance and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute lifecycle strategies for ATMs and related equipment in line with OEM standards.
- Conduct technical assessments, condition evaluations and lifecycle modelling to guide replacement or refurbishment decisions.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and oversee repair processes to minimise downtime.
- Analyse maintenance reports to identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders and ensure equipment standards align with industry best practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in asset lifecycle management, maintenance engineering or technical operations of self‑service banking and cash‑handling equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex technical information and make timely decisions.
Required skills
- Experience with ATMs.
- Knowledge of note sorters and note counters.
- Familiarity with cash recyclers and self‑service banking devices.
