About the role
The Safety & Health / Compliance Officer will ensure that our textile mill and garment manufacturing operations meet the highest labour, safety and ethical standards. You will work closely with production, maintenance and HR teams to maintain a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor safety and health policies and procedures across the mill.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Deliver safety training, coordinate emergency drills and promote a strong safety culture.
- Coordinate Safety and Health Committee meetings and follow up on actions.
Required profile
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Business or related field.
- Knowledge of Labour Laws, OSHA and social compliance standards (e.g., Higg FSLM, SMETA, WRAP).
- Strong report writing, analytical and risk assessment abilities.
- Well‑organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
