Sales Representative

About the role

AkzoNobel is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to manage the full order‑to‑delivery cycle for its paints and coatings portfolio. You will act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring smooth order processing, sample coordination, and technical support throughout the sales journey.

Key responsibilities

• Take client orders and follow up with factories and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Organise and deliver colour samples, match colours, and develop custom colour solutions with the technical team.
• Manage tender processes, identify project owners, and provide technical product advice.
• Collect payments, maintain accurate order records, and raise any quality or delay issues.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, factories, logistics, and the sales force.
• Report market activity, identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities, and monitor competitor behaviour.

Required profile

• Positive, customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and deliver high‑quality service.
• Self‑motivated with a commitment to continuous technical and sales development.
• Respect for cultural and gender diversity and willingness to collaborate across teams.
