Sales Support Engineer

About the role

The Sales Support Engineer will work closely with sales, product managers, technical teams and suppliers to gather commercial and technical data, analyse it and prepare cost estimates for project solutions. Based in Mauritius, the role supports the team in creating winning proposals for DKI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design competitive technical solutions that meet customer needs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost‑ing sheets that detail sell price, profit and costs.
• Support pricing strategy and help determine appropriate pricing to win deals.
• Attend customer meetings to provide technical and commercial expertise.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement and efficiency within the sales process.

Required profile

• Strong time‑management skills and ability to multitask across priorities.
• Positive "can‑do" attitude with creative technical thinking.
• Effective team player in cross‑functional environments.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
