Security Guard – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Security Guard ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property at the Four Seasons resort in Mauritius. The role involves patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and responding to emergencies while delivering courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol public areas, parking lots, and villa zones to prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV feeds from the security desk and report any abnormalities.
• Operate fire safety equipment, fire panels, and assist in fire drills and evacuations.
• Control access at the main gate, maintain logs, and manage badges, keys, and equipment registers.
• Conduct routine baggage checks for employees and contractors exiting the resort.
• Assist with the arrival and departure of dignitaries, state officials, and government delegations.
• Report all safety and security incidents immediately to management.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education and at least 1 year of relevant security experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Physically fit, fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking), and possess a clean morality certificate.
• Ability to work hands‑on, participate in briefings, and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Required skills

• Fire fighting certification.
• First Aid and CPR training.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Operation of fire panels and emergency life‑safety equipment.
• Access control and gate management.
