Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join the finance team of a luxury resort, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The role covers financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and supports the overall finance function of the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure timely completion of quarterly and year‑end management reports.
• Produce and analyse management financial reports to support decision‑making.
• Review and approve all payment transactions, including reimbursements, vouchers, checks and account payments.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist the Financial Controller with budgeting, forecasting and overall finance management.
• Act as deputy for the Financial Controller during periods of absence.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience within the hospitality industry.
• Experience in internal auditing is an advantage.
• Strong organisational, management and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail, integrity and reliability.
