Senior Accountant

About the role

Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality financial statements, management accounts and reporting. You will work closely with clients, auditors and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, building trusted relationships and contributing to an excellent client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts and related deliverables in line with IFRS, UK GAAP and other applicable standards.
• Perform bank and investment reconciliations, prepare VAT returns and provide accounting guidance.
• Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to support financial statement audits.
• Coach and develop junior accountants, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain high‑quality working papers, checklists and documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and service delivery.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; exposure to UK GAAP or other frameworks is beneficial.
• Experience preparing and reviewing client accounts, financial statements and management accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
