Senior Analyst – Audit Outsourcing

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Audit Outsourcing will handle small to medium audit assignments with minimal supervision, delivering high‑quality work on time. You will perform full‑scope audits, support junior team members, and ensure compliance with BDO methodology and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise audit software and IT tools to conduct audit work efficiently.
• Maintain daily progress of audit processes and provide quality client service.
• Perform full‑scope audits and report status directly to managers.
• Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Assist in preparing or reviewing financial statements in line with IFRS, GAAP or ISAs.
• Guide junior team members and ensure proper completion of engagements.
• Update project reports, SLA & KPI measurements and analyse budget/timetable discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit methodology, risk management, GDPR and Data Protection Act.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in accounting or equivalent; partly ACCA qualified.
• 1‑2 years of experience in audit, accounting or a related field.
• Higher qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong commitment to professional client service and accountability.
• Ability to organise tasks, manage time efficiently and work overtime when required.

Required skills

• Good knowledge and application of IFRS and ISAs.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools – Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience using audit software and IT tools for audit work.
