Senior Consultant – Data & AI (Tech Consulting)

About the role

EY is expanding its Digital, Data and AI practice in Mauritius and seeks a Senior Consultant to help clients define, shape and deliver AI strategies. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, translating business challenges into practical AI use cases and guiding the implementation of AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate client workshops to define AI strategy, identify use cases and align on data and AI priorities.
• Translate business challenges into AI and analytics use cases, develop roadmaps and articulate value.
• Produce high‑quality client deliverables such as assessments, reports, AI governance frameworks and executive presentations.
• Support design and implementation of AI governance and risk frameworks, including management of internal and third‑party models and LLMs.
• Contribute to AI operating models, Centres of Excellence, AI literacy, training and adoption initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to guide development and deployment of machine‑learning models and AI solutions.
• Assist with data readiness for AI, covering data governance, quality and platform enablement.
• Help grow EY’s Data and AI capabilities through proposals, thought leadership and client engagement.

Required profile

• Strong ability to structure problems and facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience developing executive‑level reports, presentations and deliverables.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and presentation skills.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on delivering results.
